Maudie Brady is an Australian artist who graduated in 1995 from the University of Melbourne (Bachelor of Art) and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Bachelor of Fine Art-Sculpture) in 1998. She then began a career in the film and television industry. After 12 years in the sector, she realized that she had a lot to learn, in particular about figurative sculpture, and undertook academic training in Italy at the Florence Academy of Art. In 2016 he obtained the Diploma in Figurative Sculpture from the aforementioned academy, with a scholarship , and continues to teach for the Sculpture Department, as well as being Director of the Anatomy and Ecorché course. She obtains prizes and recognitions, such as The Society's Prize for FACE2019, Joint winner for the Tom Bass Prize 2016 and 2022, Winner Best nude for the life-size sculpture Laura at the 12th ARC International Salon Competition and Honorable mentions for Wounded Faun, Muninn's Fate, and Forsaken Son at the 13th and 14th ARC International Exhibitions. Laura was purchased by MEAM, Museo Europeo de Arte Moderno in Barcelona in 2017 for its permanent collection.

In 2016 she completed the Figurative Sculpture Diploma at FAA with scholarship and continues to teach for the FAA Sculpture Department as well as being the Director of Anatomy and Ecorché.
